Indonesia to execute 6 drug offenders

Indonesia is to execute six drug convicts, including foreigners, Attorney General Muhammad Prasetyo said. Indonesia has extremely strict drug laws and often executes smugglers. More than 138 people are on currently on death row, mostly for drug crimes. About a third of them are foreigners. Prasetyo said the convicts would be executed simultaneously in pairs by firing squads on Sunday. Tags: drug executions |
