He is due to play at the White House Acoustic Club open mic night on Thursday, 3 September.
A Limerick man, Denis has played several performances in his home city of Limerick but has never before played a solo gig in Limerick.
The open mic evening has now been running for the past three years. Each week a guest artist takes to the microphone to perform a number of songs. The evening is open to all singers, songwriters and musicians.
No cover charge and the evening starts at 8pm and runs until late.
The White House is on the corner of the junction of Glentworth Street and O'Connell Street.
