Ahead of the next Campaign Against Household & Water Taxes meeting on Dublin's northside, taking place next Wednesday 22 February in Donnycarney's Le Cheile Community & Youth Centre at 8.15pm, John Lyons, active in the campaign since last September, calls on all those residents angry at the government and struggling to pay their bills, to come to the meeting: "We are building for a big meeting next week with hundreds of posters and thousands of leaflets making the rounds in Fariview, Artane, Clontarf and Donnycarney. I'd say to people out there to attend the meeting, you are not alone in your struggles to survive week to week, deciding what bills to pay and what necessities to forego—there are unfortunately thousands of people out there in the same position. But we can come together in this campaign and with one voice make it clear to the Government that this new Household Tax is just one austerity measure too far—we can and will defeat it."
