Old Boys

I was one of the 1st 12 boys sent to Boreatton Park Approved School in 1941, we spent all our time refurbishing the place and making it suitable for 24 boys, it was meant as a punishment but it turned out to be one of the best things that happened to me. It certainly did me no harm as I am still fit and well at age 88 yrs. The best part of my stay was under the tutelage of the Woodwork Master, I cannot remember his name but under his watchful eye I made a pair of mahogany Bed Ends of which I was very proud. Are there any of the 1st 12 still living, if so I would like to hear from them
