Benjamin Netanyahu's reference to "victory over Hamas" is the age old story of rewriting history.

Hamas did not exist prior to Israel's illegal annexations and occupations of Palestinian territory - it was born directly as a result of it.

Hamas is not the bad ogre Israeli would like it to be known as. The bad ogre is the repressive circumstances which gave rise to Hamas.
